New Immunization Requirements

The Illinois Department of Public Health has recently released information regarding requirements for the Tdap vaccine (combined tetanus, diphtheria and a cellular pertussis) for the school year 2013-2014.

During school year 2013-2014, students entering sixth through twelfth grades will be required to provide documentation of receipt of one dose of Tdap.

Please keep in mind that many students may have already received the vaccine and simply need to provide the school with proof from the family health care provider. We encourage you to begin looking into what you may need to do as soon as possible.
